Competency
A set of knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviours that an individual possesses and demonstrates to effectively perform their job are referred to as competency. Competencies can be behavioural or technical, and they encompass the personal qualities and technical expertise required for success in a particular job or profession.
The specific knowledge, abilities, and expertise associated with a specific occupation or job function are referred to as technical competencies. These abilities are ordinarily procured through schooling, preparing, and common-sense experience. Technical competencies can include software application proficiency, industry-specific knowledge, or the specialized skills necessary to carry out responsibilities.
